My name is Planifiee, the creator and writer behind ‘She Approved’. I love that feeling of browsing through a perfume store, and even more reviewing fragrances. Alongside my love for fragrances is my love for gifting my loved ones. At ‘She Approved’ find your one stop shop for your next fragrance, and gifting ideas for your loved ones.

How It All Started

The idea to create a blog came about in the summer of 2023. I wanted a creative outlet, that not only allowed me to reconnect with my passions, but help others. I love that feeling of being complimented on a perfume I’m wearing and being able to recommend it to someone else. This is when the idea of creating ‘She Approved’ came. When recommending perfumes to friends and family they would always reply with ‘if you like it, then I know I’m going to’. With my fragrance recommendations, I have a good track record of not disappointing, hence the name ‘She Approved’. I wanted to create a brand that not only recommended my favourite fragrances and scents, but one that could be trusted. A brand that others could vouch for. That doesn’t necessarily mean that every fragrance I personally love will be everyone’s cup of tea, cause that’s not realistic. However, I want readers to truly believe that my reviews and recommendations are unbiased and honest.

She’s a Giver

Alongside my love for all things fragrances, is my love of gifting. Without a doubt, if someone was to ask me my top 3 love languages in my friendships, giving gifts would definitely be in the mix. For someone like me who is not overtly affectionate, gifts are a great way not only to show love and affection, but show thoughtfulness and gratitude. Ask any of my friends, they will say that one thing about me, I am a great gift-giver. A title that I have held for many years, and one that I deeply cherish. Therefore, it was a no brainer that when formulating a blog focused on recommending, that my love for gift-giving, as well as fragrances was going to be the foundation.

She Loves a Commotion

When it comes to fragrances, I personally gravitate towards stronger perfumes that make a presence. I prefer my perfumes to be warm and rounded, meaning that my go-to notes are vanilla, sandalwood, and amber. I love my fragrances to feel inviting, comforting and warm like a hug. But my preferred perfume notes will become more apparent in my perfume reviews and picks.
